Modernize Informatica Test Data Management for IDMC

ASP TDM Modernization
ASP uses a hybrid approach to accelerate the transition of existing Informatica Test Data Management environments to IDMC. The process first performs a controlled lift and shift of supported TDM components using IDMC’s CDI-PC service, then modernizes the migrated components using ASP’s IDMC TDM Orchestration Framework.

Migrate the existing TDM environment and supported components to IDMC using CDI-PC, preserving the current implementation as the starting point for modernization.

Component Conversion
Convert supported TDM assets to their corresponding IDMC counterparts, including connections, sources, masking entities and rules, test data generation rules, subset entities, and TDW repository components. Plans and Data Domains are not migrated because they are not required in the target architecture.

Identify migratable services and dependencies across the existing TDM environment, prepare unsupported services where required, and take a backup of the source TDM environment as a fail-safe before the one-way migration process.

Validate all migrated objects using before-and-after component counts, record and field validation, data sampling, unit testing, execution-time comparisons, notifications, and customer UAT across key masking, test data generation, and subset workflows.

Post-Migration Modernization
Apply straightforward fixes to migrated CDI-PC mappings and transition more complex changes into the modernization phase, where migrated TDM components are converted to their modern IDMC counterparts using ASP’s IDMC TDM Orchestration Framework.
